This 44 Hour Presentation Is October 24-28, 2022
Terry Gorski developed the Advanced Relapse Prevention Therapy Certification (44 CEUs) Training to address the relapse process and eliminate or significantly reduce people’s risk of relapse. This training will rank among the most comprehensive and effective that you have ever experienced. It is an advanced clinical skills training designed for professional counselors and therapists who are good and want to get better.
I will be participating in the October Virtual RPT school along with Roland Williams and two other Gorski-CENAPS® Trainers Bob Tyler and Alana Van Zanten. I want to invite you all to join us.
Over the past 40 years research has clearly shown that relapse is a process that begins long before recovering people start using alcohol or other drugs. Alcohol and drug use do not mark the beginning of the relapse process—it is the final stage. Alcohol and drug use is just the final step in an ongoing relapse process. The relapse process begins as recovering people begin using thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that create so much pain and problems that self-medication with alcohol and other drugs seems like a good choice.
This Training Consists Of:
After the training you will be eligible to earn an optional Competency Certification by submitting an RPT Certification Portfolio Package for an additional $150 portfolio review fee through the Gorski-CENAPS® Corporation.

Empowerment Coaching is intended for people who, despite their best efforts, have been unable to create and maintain the quality of life they really want. Or for those who choose not to enroll in traditional treatment programs. Many of Dr. Grinstead's coaching clients have completed several traditional treatment programs and either relapsed or were afraid they might.
Empowerment Coaching is very different from therapy or counseling. It is more collaborative and action-oriented than therapy and focuses primarily on the present and immediate future and by setting realistic short and long-term goals.
